Bare minerals 8 piece modern luxuries collection: Posh pinks

So today I received the modern luxuries posh pinks collection from bare minerals, and I have to say I am surprised by the vibrant colours in this collection.

This 8 piece collection includes:

Lets start with the brushes

The soft focus brush offers a light coverage and is recommended for use with bronzer or the mineral touch-up veil, however it can be used to apply foundation.

The double ended tapered shadow and blush brush allows to you apply eye colour easily and contour blush with more ease, this brush definitely makes things easier by being double ended and would be great for travelling.

Now for the eye colour...

Finesse, which is pictured on the left, is a light pink peach colour with a light shimmer. It is the perfect colour for all over the lid and everyday wear.

Enchanted diamond, pictured on the right, is a dark cinnamon colour which is perfect for the outer eyelid to enhance your eyes.

Both eye colours can be applied by using the tapered shadow brush and the colours compliment each other very well. I really like the colour finesse, but if you do end up buying it I really do recommend pairing it with enchanted diamond or for a softer look caramel cashmere.

To apply simply dap some colour onto the brush and tap off any excess then sweep over the eyelid, for the crease contour turn the brush sideways to make it easier to apply.

Thrill, the cheek tint, is a very vibrant pink which is perfect for giving your face a rosy glow. To apply use the tapered blush brush, tap some powder into the lid you only need a little because of the high pigmentation, swirl the brush around the lid to pick up the colour then sweep over cheeks.

The lipstick in the colour steal the show, is another rosy pink, which surprisingly turns out to be more of a natural lip colour, so this is now my favourite Marvelous moxie lipstick colour.

The eye liner, featured in the colour forever brandy, is a smokey brown with a slight dark purple tinge, it also has a hidden sharpener and smudge tip, so is great for on the go!

Unfortunately I was unable to show the READY foundation as I was sent the entirely opposite colour to what I ordered, however I do own the ready foundation already and I love it! For the best look double tap your brush then sweep over face, for more coverage repeat until you are happy with your look.
